Sounds wonderful, DD!
Hi Boobs and DG!
The Indigo Girls concert on Friday night was a real treat. they played a nice combination of songs from their new CD "Despite Our Differences" and old favorites like 'Galileo' and 'Closer to Fine'.
Our weekend sojourn to Savannah was very nice. We soaked up the history of the city and had a couple of great meals at "Elizabeth on 37th" and "The Lady and Sons". DG - there was a Jamie and Bobby sighting.
Tonight we get to see the tour of "Light in the Piazza" at the Fox. I'm interested to see Christine Andreas' take on Margaret and Elena Shadow's Clara.

Hi Rath! "Galileo" was a huge sing-a-long song on Friday. It's SUCH a good tune.

When I worked for Kathleen Turner, we used to play that in the office and sing our lungs out. She was the person who introduced me to their music.

Very interesting, Rath! The Indigo Girls sound as good as ever. You should check out their new CD. They are playing at Radio City very soon. BTW - my favorite sing-a-long song of theirs is "Power of Two" from the "Swamp Ophelia" CD.
DG - Oh, I LOVED the LCT production of "Piazza" with Victoria, Kelli...I do hope that the tour is strong, too. I'll let you know my thoughts tomorrow.

Of course she should have, DG.
There is that other song too, I can't remember the name, from that same album...dammit..."the last truce we ever came to in our adolescent war..." love singing that one too!
ETA: Ghost. Just sang it in my head until I got to the title.

I'm about to head home. Just popping in to say "hi" to my afternoon peeps!

Just got my tix for Xmas.
Will end up taking 2 weeks off from work. I get back to Seattle on Thursday, and I won't be back at work until the following Monday. Yay!

Morning peeps !!! Thanks for breakfast Mamie....what a spread !!!
So I just got to work and now am backed up....thanks to an accident that was so bad outside the Lincoln Tunnel that they closed it. I haven't seen so many police cars, fire trucks and ambulances in one place..I pray that everyone who was involved is okay. Ah the joys of commuting into the City.
*grabs a cup of coffee and runs* See you all later. Hugs to all !!!

Yes DG..never a dull moment on NJ transit.
I heard this story on the news this morning...when will the hate stop? BTW..the news made it out to be more of a bias crime...

They also don't tell you in this article that after the man was hit by a car the men continued to beat him....a robbery? Me thinks NOT.
