*pulls DG in to join us - if he promises to behave*

Rath, there's not point pulling DG in if he's not going to be naughty. There's absolutely no point.

I'll be good - and wear green.

Oh, DG, it's not obligatory. Just wear the first thing you pull out of the wardrobe
DG - Hooray for Mozart! This year celebrates his 250th birthday, doesn't it? I loved visiting his birthplace in Salzburg, Austria a few years back. That city is crazy about Mozart. We saw a terrific Mozart themed chamber concert in the fortress on top of the town.
Hi Pattifan - Yes, the new Scissor Sisters CD is a lot of fun. I bet their show is a very high energy one. Their new single is outstanding! The Pet Shop Boys are favorites from way back - I've enjoyed their music since their beginnings with 'West End Girls'. They don't tour too often in the US, so I'm thrilled to see them. Their new CD "Fundamental" is doing very well in the UK. They don't get a whole lot of airplay anymore here in the States, unfortunately, so their newer material isn't as well known. I do think that Neil Tennant is brilliant.
Hi Rath!

Tennant is terrific. I was listening to their old album with Liza a few weeks back at a friend's. There were some good tracks on there. Funnily enough it came with a complimentary dvd of some of the videos and they were NOT good. Ugh! Liza - what were you thinking! Scissor Sisters played a VERY small venue near to me a couple of years ago and I've always regretted not going. They only play big stadiums now which would not be the same. Love 'I Don't Feel Like Dancin' - great track. Be sure to post your thoughts, junglered.
Hey, jungle!
And can't you boys just snuggle?!

Of course we can, Rath - some of us even prefer it

Can I just say, DG - you snuggle very well
Snugglefest!
Pattifan - Fortunately, the Scissor Sisters -and the Pet Shop Boys- are both playing at an intimate venue here in Atlanta called The Tabernacle. It is an old church downtown which was converted to a concert venue for the 1996 Olympics. At the time, it was run by the House of Blues - and decorated with tons of folk art on the walls. It has a gerneral admission standing room area in front of the stage and 2 balconies of seated areas above. It's a great place to see a concert. I will be exhausted, though, because the shows are back to back on Wed. and Thurs. Oh, well, what one has to do for art these days...art isn't easy...
Gotta run, yall - have a great evening!!!
Drat! I missed the snugglesfest.
There was a snugglefest?

This thread has an on-going snugglefest - no one ever gets left out.
And this girl has been fortunate enough to have experienced the supreme snuggling of both DG and pattifan in person, and is missing it a little bit.

Rath - you've snuggled quite a few from around these parts!
At least we have our memories
I am lucky indeed, aren't I?

I just have to share that the TinMan's latest hobby since retirement is cooking. So on the rare nights we're actually home, I'm getting treated to an amazing array of gourmet foods. I'm loving this! Not to mention the part about not having to worry about that aspect of home-making - and that I REALLY love.
Besides that, it keeps him occupied and in one place
I will attest to DG's amazing snuggling prowess.
Still waiting to experience pattifan's.

There are certainly worse things to be known for.
I know, because, at times, I've been known for some of them, too
Hmm. Whatever I did at work to this laptop seems to be working. I'm able to read and reply to messages again. I was plotzing over not being able to over the weekend. I'm keeping my fingers crossed it continues to work.
So. Who knew I was going to need a 2nd job just to pay for these damn glasses I don't want!! I figured maybe $250-300. Oh, no. Not my prescription.
To top that off, I come home to the credit card bill, which I refuse to open yet, cause I know that last month's car repair of a couple thousand is on it. I see me tossing and turning tonight.
Have to remember to ask Boobs if he ever checked our lottery ticket from Friday night.

I know what you're going through. My medical bills got so high over this last year that I don't even bother opening them anymore. I just pay what I can and hope that it's enough to keep me out of jail.
Hey - did any of you boys lose your pumpkin?
He he he That's excellent, mamie. If I had a porch, I would steal it!

Just felt like saying hi and possibly getting a virtual snuggle from DG.
Mamie: I feel your pain on the medical bills. I had a benign cyst removed this summer, and even with insurance, I owe a ton of money...and now I'm dealing with a bunch of dental work I need! Ack. Oh, and great pumpkin, btw!
