Harris, you are so mean, and don't you know that gators eat cows! How do think your senseless UF love makes them feel?
Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could. Some blunders and absurdities no doubt crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day; begin it well and serenely and with too high a spirit to be enbered with your old nonsense. ~ Emerson

Morning all
Mini rant. Start the day with my partner leaving the house early only to have to turn around and come home - he has a flat tire. He goes to use mine, as I can walk, and I have a flat tire as well. Two flat tires are suspicious but when the next two neighbours also have flats - WHAT GIVES WITH SOME PEOPLE. Yes the have been slashed. We can (grudgingly) afford it but not sure the neighbours are in the same position. I was late for work with lots to do and the network is excruatingly slow this morning. I want to say F it, a let it wait until morning.
I have the afternoon off and yes I can walk hone but its probably going to rain this afternoon, I do have an umbrella but now I to take care of two flat tires. WHERE IS THE THRILL IN THIS KIND OF SENSELESS VANDALISM!!!!!!

Wasn't that actually quite nice of him?
Shouldn't we just love each other?

Kansas - that is awful. I'd put them in the same category as the miscreants who were tossing rocks at Boob's commute bus. Absolutely no respect for others' existence or property - stemming from absolutely no self-respect.
And, of course, it usually gets twisted around that the reason for that hole in their existence is something external - we certainly wouldn't want to hold anyone responsible for their own condition.
The worst part is, you feel powerless to have a response - you just have to 'suck it up' and accept that some people do those things. I'm sorry they had to intrude on your harmless journey, truly.

Good morning adults. PalJoey'sPal woke me up this morning with a wine emergency: A 375-ml bottle of vintage Port fell, shattered and spilled Port all over the rug. And the walls and the floor.
So glass shards, delicious expensive wine, and a trip to the rug cleaner. Not the biggest tragedy in the world, but a lousy way to start a day.
(And my hands REEK of Port from blotting it up with paper towels.)

Sorry, Kansas and GFG, not the best start to your weekend, I'm sure.
Edit: Sorry, PJ, didn't see your post. Wasted wine! That might be the biggest tragedy of all!

*hugs around*
Disneyland yesterday was perfection - probably the best day we've ever had there. About 75 degrees, crystal-clear and sunny - and not many people in the parks! We could stroll around easily and comfortably all day - and the longest we waited to do anything was 6 minutes! We did quite a few things we normally bypass simply because they're not worth the time sacrifice. It really was a perfect experience
