Hi Kids! Just wanted to say "hi". Sorry to hear about your bad luck, Somms. I thought these things only happened in threes. Voodoo?
Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could. Some blunders and absurdities no doubt crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day; begin it well and serenely and with too high a spirit to be enbered with your old nonsense. ~ Emerson

if i go home i may never come back. it took every fiber of my being to get myself to actually get up and come to work today. so far, it's like i never left, although there have been quite a few changes made in my absence and the company is desperately trying to build morale after losing 20% of our workforce in the past six months. it'll be interesting to see what happens.

I'm sure it was hard to get there after time off, especially surgically-induced time off.

Good morning! Remember me?
Almost a dozen teachers out this week - conferences, etc. I'll be subbing in various classes for the next few days. I teach MATH in a few minutes. MATH!!!!!!! I can't add or subtract, so they better not need help.
Just checking in to say hi to the family.

There she is! You've been missed, Moony!
And, of course, a special "hello" to my boyfriend in another life or an alternate universe, or just in my own mind! Whatever!

Good morning all.
GfG - My little ol' German grandma used to make those all the time. In fact, she was a wonder in the kitchen. Just yesterday I made homemade soup that I decided needed a little something extra to thicken it up. So I made a half recipe of her Spaetzle and that did the trick. I found myself thinking of her all day and now you've extended it to Monday - I couldn't be more delighted!
Somms - I'm so sorry to hear about all your troubles. I just sent a note to Addy and used the phrase 'when it rains, it pours' and that certainly applies to you! Of course you could take that old oven and shove it in the hole in the roof and call it your new 'op art' collection......
(or maybe not)
RobbO - have a terrific day but don't overdo it!

Thanks Mamie! Can you believe that they don't make wall ovens in pink. I so wanted to exactly replace the 55 year old model that I had. I cried when I had to replace the pink cooktop last year. Pink enamel cleaned so much easier than stainless steel.
Welcome back RobbO!
