Hi guys. I just wanted to stop in for a sec and let RobbO know that this surgery he's having is going to be fine - as long as he listens to the docs and doesn't try to do too much. The thing is that you will WANT to do too much because you're going to feel so much better. Just don't do it or you'll hurt yourself even more. The surgery site needs to heal and the bones fuse and that's going to take about 6 weeks minimum.

I had a nasty accident a few years ago and ended up with ruptured disks in my neck and the small of the back. The neck didn't hurt as bad but the surgery was harder and it took 12 weeks in a hard (metal) cervical collar before I was able to look and feel human again. Believe me - the lower back surgery was a walk in the park after that!

Hi Boobs and All - My trip to Boston was great - except that we lost the football game in double overtime. Otherwise, the weekend was fun. Work is going fine this week. Tonight, we're seeing KT Tunstall in concert ("Black Horse and the Cherry Tree" and "Suddenly, I See"). She's playing a small club venue here in Atlanta. I think KT is a strong new artist who we'll hear a lot from in the future.

Maybe it's just me, but whenever I turn on the t.v. either one of those songs is being played in whatever show I'm watching at the time! Starting to get on my last nerve.

Hi Girly! Yes, you are right - both of those songs have gotten A LOT of exposure, but I think her entire debut CD "Eye to the Telescope" is very strong. Her voice seems like a mixture of Sarah McLachlan meets Rickie Lee Jones by way of Norah Jones (to me).

Hi DD! It looks like the great North West is getting some wonderful live theatre. I really was very moved by "Doubt". If Cherry Jones is with the tour when "Doubt" hits Seattle, try to catch it if you can. She gives a riveting performance.

Actually, we're not getting the tour. This is the first regional production in the U.S. Says something about the Rep, eh?

Yeah, we have LOTS of great stuff this year... between tours and locally produced shows, it's going to be one busy season.

I'm buying tickets on Friday for Evita at Village.
