An 8:00am fire drill. Who the hell schedules an 8:00am fire drill? And yeah, we failed miserably. We better not have any early morning real fires, or we're doomed.

Speaking of which, the house 3 doors down from us had a kitchen fire at midnight this morning. My daughter had to wake me up because I slept through the arrival of 3 fire trucks and 2 amblulances and numerous police cars - and my room overlooks the street!

Bottom line: I will not play with fire.

Waste is right. I think it was 3.25 for a medium. Slightly less than Starbucks.

Nope... The nearest is in Frankfurt... or Wiesbaden... 45 minutes by car!

But I could open my car's skylight while I drive there...

Well...get into you car..drive there, but park at least 2 blocks away so you can dance in the rain while singing your favorite song...I bet it will put you in a good mood and others who see you..sometimes they will join in.

There's a brand new Starbucks they built not far from me that has a drive through. I'm so glad I don't like their coffee. I've never heard of Pax.

Moony, that simply amazes me. I can't remember the last time I slept that soundly. I probably would've been on some major drugs in order to do so!

Pax is a chain in the city, advertising "wholesome" food. Watery lattes don't fit into my definition of wholesome.

I'm busted - it was the Nyquil martini. Never drink anything green from a martini glass.
