He's adorable!!!

Haul out the holly
Put up the tree before my spirit falls again
Fill up the stocking
I may be rushing things, but deck the halls again now
For we need a little Christmas
Right this very minute
Candles in the window
Carols at the spinet
Yes, we need a little Christmas
Right this very minute
It hasn't snowed a single flurry
But Santa, dear, we're in a hurry
So climb down the chimney
Turn on the brightest string of light I've ever seen
Slice up the fruitcake
It's time we hung some tinsel on that evergreen bough
For I've grown a little leaner
Grown a little colder
Grown a little sadder
Grown a little older
And I need a little angel
Sitting on my shoulder
Need a little CHristmas now
For we need a little music
Need a little laughter
Need a little singing
Ringing through the rafter
And we need a little snappy
"Happy ever after"
Need a little Christmas now
Penny...he really is, but what a skooch. I never know what I'm in for when he's around...keeps me on my toes and laughing.
Ok, I'm a dope... I kept scrolling back to find a picture of someone in a pool.
*slaps forehaed*
Then I saw Boobs's avatar...
cute!
Boobs, did I ever tell you my first dog was named Skooch?
And in keeping with Addy's theme for the day:
I have a friend who still has the tree up in the corner. It's not decorated, so Christmas in July at her house!

Love it! Merry, merry!
My ex friend Crazy Dave's mother keeps the tree up (and decorated) year round in the cordoned off living room. Dave didn't fall far from the tree.
And what about Hannukah, I ask?

We'll cover all the celebrations, Shira!
YSB, that is my FAVORITE!
Thank you!
I guess it makes the holiday preparations a little easier if you keep the decorations up all year round.
But... the preparations are part of the FUN!
Ethel Merman kept her tree up and decorated all year round too.
I know my fellow SB.

And, just for you...
A Wicked Idina Christmas.
Perfect!
Amazing what exists in the world of Google!
I love how only EYE-talians know what "Skooch" is. (Aunt Mary used to call Uncle Fred a skooch ALL. THE. TIME. She'd follow it with a whole lot of Italian that I didn't understand, but could figure out!)
Coincidentally, last night we went out for dinner to a restaurant that was playing nice standards by the classic crooners. Suddenly, Bing Crosby was singing "Joy to the World." I thought I was the only one who noticed until about 2 minutes in, it just stopped. I guess management finally caught on. Anyway, CBC looked at me and said, "Christmas in July!"
Christmas in July is a wonderful idea. Just think - we almost ran out of July days to celebrate it in!
WHOA! The old dude gets around, doesn't he?!

I would post a pic of something hung by the chimney with care, but I probably shouldn't.
Especially since we all know you wouldn't want to get this thread deleted, sir!
PM's are good, though.
