I have a friend who still has the tree up in the corner. It's not decorated, so Christmas in July at her house!

My ex friend Crazy Dave's mother keeps the tree up (and decorated) year round in the cordoned off living room. Dave didn't fall far from the tree.

I love how only EYE-talians know what "Skooch" is. (Aunt Mary used to call Uncle Fred a skooch ALL. THE. TIME. She'd follow it with a whole lot of Italian that I didn't understand, but could figure out!)

Coincidentally, last night we went out for dinner to a restaurant that was playing nice standards by the classic crooners. Suddenly, Bing Crosby was singing "Joy to the World." I thought I was the only one who noticed until about 2 minutes in, it just stopped. I guess management finally caught on. Anyway, CBC looked at me and said, "Christmas in July!"
