And then some surgeries?
The skin must be removed. Annoying, but must be done.

I had Tostitos Baked Chips today - YUMMY!
I was just eating Rold Gold Pretzel Sticks. Yum.

I just had a small salad with herbed chicken, avacado, tomato and almonds. Quite yummy.
I just drank a cup of coffee and ate a Clif bar.
I just had some sliced jicima, and am holding off the urge to call the vet.
Call. It'll make you feel better, and they half expect you to.

		     			I'd be calling.

Conf. call finally over.

Good choice. I really prefer the Olestra Tostitos, but they don't exist in Canada.

Hmmm. We're only about 15 miles from the epicenter on that quake. I think that will cover my quake quota for a little while.

And, YWIW - call.

DG, how far from Costa Mesa and San Clemente?

You - our vet here always encouraged us to call, they know it just makes you feel better to hear from them "nothing yet" than to wonder on your own.
Shira where in Canada are you. Olestra isn't that the stuff that can have some 'leakage' side effects?
Not in yet. I was told that the vet will give me a call as soon as they come in.

And Kansas, yes, Olestra is that stuff that can result in a bit of unexpected leaking.

Girly - do you mean from Chino Hills? I'd say Costa Mesa is about 20 miles in the other direction. Not sure about San Clemente.
Ok I'm glad we don't have Olestra laden foods here then!

Kansas, I'm in Woodstock, New Brunswick.

And yes, Olestra has those side effects for many people - but not me

I don't know what's happening for supper tonight. Last night was beer and poutine, I think I need something healthier tonight.

Wow. Just looked at flights to Toronto (my other sister is there until December) and same story: SO expensive. *sigh* I guess I'll be staying put for a while.
Oh no not that fine Canadian cuisine poutine.
Ah yes you are in the timezone ahead of all us 'Easteners' oops forgot about Newfoundland 1.5 hrs ahead.

		     			Yup, poutine.

Yup, I'm on Atlantic Time, which is fine. But it's funny when we cross the border to suddenly be in a new time zone!

I meant from the epicenter of the earthquake.
