Quick, brief hello to all. Still swamped between the office move and getting ready for the opening day of school. New teachers are here today for their orientation, so I will be busy most of the day, but will pop in when I can.
We have warm, homemade danish this morning!!!!!!

Posted: 8/14/08 at 8:47amGoodmorning - Have 2 days left of my vacation...it has been very relaxing so far...no small children or sick dogs to worry about. Speaking of teachers...recieved some great news yesterday. My daughter who had an interview about a month ago for a special education teaching job and did not get the job was notified yesterday that she did get the job because their first choice had to turn it down! This is great news because her husband works at Ford in Michigan and will be laid off until September. He still gets his pay but no overtime which is basically how they have been making it these past couple years while she has been finishing up school and having two babies.

Well, I have a trip already scheduled with my mom for October and then I'll be back in December when Boobs comes home.

He is a bit more perky this morning - they said he would sleep alot when I first got him, but I swear, this kitten/cat is stoned on something. And nothing seems to bother him. I should just call him duuuuuuuude.
And the funny thing was, he loved sleeping in Shira's lap, until of course I tried to take a picture...
Shira looks fabulous! The kitty is pretty cute as well!

I've never been a "cat person", but I've easily fallen in love with the kitties of the adults here. Almost enough to possibly consider getting one. If I could just get past the shedding hair.
