Well, at Miss P's urging I got tickets to see the Drowsy tour while it is in LA.
I bought a passport to the CTG, and it gives me 50% off of ticket prices. So, instead of paying 70 each for two tickets, it is only 70 for the pair.
Not too bad...

Y, I loved the Drowsy tour.
Hello Adults! Very busy at the office! Holy Crap. I.T. issues - uggh!
C12 is C13 this week! How has time flown?
YWIW, when do you get Drowsy?

She is a very nice girl, a little dizzy at times. (C13, not Y)

The touring production of DROWSY is pretty cute, I thought. Not my favorite show, though.
I just went with my friend to get her MacBook for college, and it made my stomach hurt to watch her hand over $1,200.00 in cash like that. I've never even held that much money, let alone spent it. Geez.
The boyfriend called me as soon as he landed today. Thanks to me, he's gone over his texting limit by 150 texts. I guess I should slip him some cash when he isn't looking. I feel kind of bad...
Hey, I am a nice girl too...sometimes.
I am going Thursday night. If it playing right now at the Ahmanson.
And DGG - I remember when I bought my first car - I was a sophmore in college, and I had $2,900 cash from working two jobs over the summer - it seemed like a fortune.
Oh, YOU! You're always a nice girl!
DGG - I know how that is. Scary! I've done it by credit card before (I bought my Mom's MacBook PRO for her on her CC because well, I'm the one who knew what she wanted)....it was intense.
But, DGG, as Shira and I can both tell you, it gets easier to drop large sums of cash in the blink of an eye. I remember one heady day back in the '80s when I spent over $1,000 at Saks. Before lunch.
And then, when you write that first check for your first down payment on your first co-op, condo or house. Ooohhh, there's nothing like it.
It does get easier, but the guilt remains.
Nope, that goes away too, Shira.
Oh good. In that case...hello, LOUIS!
I freak at buying any tangible item that's over a couple hundred dollars. Like the laptop I ordered this weekend. That I want in my hands. RIGHT NOW!

Patience, Girly. It will come SOON!
I just paid some credit card bills. I have guilt.
Luckily, it's fleeting.
Speaking of guilt, any news from the lost Thai boys?
Yeah, I wonder what's up with those two?
Uhm, yeah, I guess I should rephrase that.
NO! bitch.bastard.
Doesn't Somms fly in tomorrow? Or is it Thursday. I forget.

I think he's coming home on Thursday - I seem to remember him saying something about getting back on the 17th.
Should we have a doc check him out when he arrives? Who knows what or whom he got into over there!
Shira, what are you implying?
That he had too much fun in Thailand and took "Phuket" a little too literally.
SOMMS? Are you serious - our SOMMS, the very model of gentlemanly restraint and modesty? Surely you jest, Shira.

I just am not a fan of large sums of money. Probably because I've never had any!
Being po' has it's advantages, though!
The boy just called. I miss him. And I hate being this pathetic.
DGG, you're adorably pathetic.
Yeah, I jest, my ass, D2.
You are not pathetic, DGG - you are adorable, and a great catch! The boy is lucky. Very, very lucky.
