Shira, on the Today Show this morning Jean Chatsky, (who I love listening to - so measured and wise and responsible!), was saying that many people think that dropping their "expensive" gym memberships is a way to manage budgets in this economy. She made a point of saying that, although the memberships may be costly, being healthy ultimately saves us money in medical costs. And that if going to a gym is the routine one needs to stay fit and healthy, then people should really reconsider making a budget cut in that area.
Hi, Q!
Ps - there are good management opportunities at McDonalds. They are a good corporate employer. Don't knock 'em! (not that anybody was, but I just wanted to add my 2 cents...)
Hey, I need encouragement and support here, Q. Focus!
No...focus!
Have a moist towelette.
And, hi, DD!
Got anything special planned this weekend?
Once upon a time I had hoped that a ski trip might be possible on this weekend, but... alas, the economy...
I'll be toasting to you!!
Addy, I do so wish I could be at that concert.
Addy, I'll be adding that to my sales pitches, thank you!
I love skiing. I like to go on the bunny slopes a million times and then have hot cocoa in a snowy lodge.
DD - *hugs* I miss you.
Hep, I wish you could, too - for SO MANY reasons!
(top of list: you'd be in NY and we could spend time together!)
Well, you can ski; I'll just enjoy the cocoa.
I LOVE to ski.
Love it, love it, love it.
I started skiing when I was in 2nd grade, and just love everything about it.
Well, not the bitter below-zero cold days. I'm too old for those.
When I was younger NOTHING could have kept me off the slopes.
Nowadays I don't risk injury by skiing on bitterly cold days.
But, the whole ski experience is so fabulous.
Addy's a ski bunny!
LOL - SO not me!
You don't have a fluffy tail? I am disappointed.
Not when I ski...
Ok, my friends, time to make something for dinner. Have a grand evening!
Enjoy!
I'm having a grand evening m'self. It's pleasant.
Have a lovely time, peeps. Here's another tonic for our ailing Tink.

Yes, Brd.
I hope Tink is watching. Roddick vs Djokovic in the first set tiebreak.
Djokovic has the luck running his way at the moment.
I just close my eyes and listen to the grunting by two hot athletic men.
They may change their shirts. It is pretty hot on that court.

Djokovic is going to have to do some growing up for me to appreciate/pay attention to him. I actually like his tennis, but his attitude turns me off completely.
You should see his fans. I think they are still fighting every Balkans war to have been fought. The same goes for the Croatian and Bosnian fans at the tennis this week. Mindless. But, then, they are not really tennis fans.
Morvning peeps lah !!! Day 2 of CNY...luckily some stores were open today.
Good morning all! They close the mall, Boobsie? Did you get a Starbucks?
