Trust me, the temptation was there!! I remember being 12 and going up to my Dad to tell him that I was going to marry James Hetfield, it didn't matter that he was 20 years older than me. My dad was like oh dear she already likes the older guys! lol

'Morning all! Nice weekend here with the notable exception of a memorial service for the woman who had been my best friend all through high school. Funny how life takes people in different directions. You never know where the journey will lead you or when it will end.
*end of early morning philosophical musings*
Coffee?
Yes, please!
Mornin'!
So, I hosted my first Super Bowl party yesterday. It went really well. I'm not nearly as domestically challenged as I'd thought.
The bad news is that everyone liked my place a little too much and they are threatening to return on a regular basis.

For Shamey.
My daughter hosted her first Superbowl party too. I haven't heard how it went. She was a little concerned about having to throw people out in the wee hours of the morning since she had to be a work early today.
Shameys - as long as they don't try to take over when I'm there! :) Glad it went well. I was exhausted from the night before so I kept it low key for the game and just went to one of my boys houses to watch it.
Moony - sorry to hear about that! **hugs**
Thanks, Moony!
Everyone cleared out around 12:30. They wanted to stay to watch The Office, after the game. And they were all great about helping me put stuff away, so I only have some glasses to wash and some crumbs to wipe up tonight. But, I guess that's a sign of a good party when no one is in a rush to leave.

G'morning!
I have to go tutor a girl two years older than me in German. This ought to be fun. At least I get paid.
Sorry Moony.
I think I have one nerve left and it's only the middle of the morning.
Where did my weekend go?!

I think maybe both you and Moony have been spending too much time with Tink.

Hey!! I resemeble that remark! :)
Sunshine, I have my Pinky and the Brain mug sitting on a shelf on my wall unit and it was a big hit with my guests.
awww, yay!!!! :)
And you'd be shocked - all these boys I've been meeting - they actually think i am nice and pleasant. Whacky I tell ya!
Yeah, you're nice and pleasant, so long as they don't text you with 10 different change of brunch location and times.

Good morning ladies! Wonderfun weekend, good load-in and tech (if there is such a thing) and now ready for a 4-day work week.
Good afternoon, folks. School started last week, early morning Monday class again. My luck seems to be holding out though - it seems I've got another terrific, smart and fun group.
Thai for lunch?
Mr. D2!!
I've never had Thai. Someday.
How did opening go?

Hey there papa - join the old but dismayed.
DD - how was the birthday?
Hey Papa! Love the PHTTTT! av.
Moony, my condolences.
Girly - the opening went well. As I said, the audiences are enjoying the show, but we just got the first review - from Backstage - and they creamed it.
*shrugs*
I'll write a review! You don't have to have seen a show to review it, right?

Not at all, Girly. And at the end of the season, when it comes to voting for awards... VOTE! Whether you've seen the show or not, vote for the friend of your choice, but VOTE!

Creamed it? Gah. What do they know? Buncha hacks.
Birthday was great - jS baked me my favorite cake, and even though it was his first time, it came out perfectly. (those of you on fb can check out the pic.) Went out with friends to a bar that night; had dinner with friends on Saturday night after an afternoon of catching up with BSG.
