You don't want to do that, Girly.
nasty morning. I busted my ass big time in the driveway this morning and am now walking around like I have hemmoroids, lol. At least 5 or 6 more people at my job have reported similar incidents. Gotta love the winter.
I was going to send Shira over, but looked at the clock and giggled at the thought of her being awake yet in this weather.
I ain't skeered of you!

Girly, I'm UP! I know, scary.
Okay, important question.
I have appropriate interview attire, but how do shoes work in this weather? I can't be expected to wear adorable pumps when I'd be drenched and my rainboots are, well, colorful, but not professional. Do I just bring an extra large bag to store my rainboots in and switch shoes when I arrive at the interview?

I've been trying to post in here for the last 20 minutes. Either my server is wacky or I'm wacky.
Whatever the case - good morning at last!
The site has been locking up my computer all morning. Argh.
Shira, yes to the bag with the shoes. Make nice nice with the receptionist and ask if you can leave them with her/him. I got my job at Saks partly because I had dry shoes and socks on a VERY rainy day.
Hi! Um...okay.
Are the shoes okay? Are printed stockings (i.e. fine lines, nothing outlandish) appropriate?
HELP!
Mornin' all!
The shoes are cute! Fine, I say, but ask the professionals.
*breathes*
I think they're cute, but is cute bad? I mean, I'm a pretty polished person (stop snickering D2), but I don't want to come off as one-note. I want this woman to see that I'm intelligent but also have a youthful vivacity. (It's an interview with a recruiting firm, but I'm still so nervous!)

Love the dress, but do you have a little jacket to put over it?
Patterned hose could be a bit distaarcting against metallic-toned shoes (at least for interview purposes).
It's not the actual dress, just an idea (so you get that I'm not interviewing my cleavage).
Little Jacket? Only denim, and that's a no-no!
Grey hose it is!

I wore a similar dress yesterday. I wore it with a red belt, black tights and red/black/grey plaid flats.
I bet you looked so cute!
Me too cuz, but instead of flats I wore "come fok me pumps"
That's hot!
Are cute shoes ever a bad thing? I have so much to learn!

Wearing boots and bringing shoes is appopriate. Please make sure that your blouse is clean. I recall staring at a stain a few years ago during an interview.
Happy Humping Day! My ten year old is so observant. He said in the car on the way to school: "Gas prices are low, but they are creeping up. Look diesel is $2.99."
I was gonna wear those, but since my interview is with a woman, I figured I'd save the come-ons for when I need to suck up to management.
Shut up.

I wore a similar black dress yesterday but it was a wrap around and i wore it with patterned fishnetty type stockings and my knee high boots.
OK, I am obsessed with Cheyenne's song "Surrender" on the Scott Alan's "Dreaming Wide Awake". If you have never heard it you must! My boy Josh has a good song on there too.
