Lonely and exhausting at the top, huh?
Deet - I remember being in Times Square in December 1969 (shut up, young 'uns)but I was too mesmerized (is that the word I want?) by all the peep shows, etc to notice whether it was crowded or not.

I've only ever been to New York at Christmas, when Times Square is a glorified abattoir queue.
Hope everyone is sprightly and well today.
deep-delving, dark, deliberate you would say
browsing on spire and bogland; but today
our sky-blue slates are steaming in the sun,
our yachts tinkling and dancing in the bay
like racehorses. We contemplate at last
shining windows, a future forbidden to no one.

Posted: 1/15/09 at 9:22amI enjoyed it, Girly. There were some hilarious parts for sure, but I think because I knew about some of the funniest parts going into it, it wasn't quite as good as I was expecting it to be. And I thought the first act seemed a bit long. But the cast was very good and the girl who did the voice of Kate Monster was fantastic.

Posted: 1/15/09 at 9:34amAt least it was good for the most part! Someday I may get around to seeing it.

Me, too! I was hoping this little piddling snow would've turned into a blizzard! No such luck.
I'm going to be laptopless for a couple hours today. My tech needs to try and resolve an e-mail issue. Without it, my work practically comes to a screeching halt.

BWG - what is your dress code? You can go topless at the office?
COLD here. -10 this morning. No problems with the L, but the drive to take C15 to school was too long.
We have Xanadu next week. I am taking C13, she did a funny 80's costume for Halloween.

brd, you definitely need some food. You're getting delirious.
I just got a loaner laptop that I believe is one of the first ever produced!! It seems to shut down every few minutes.
I'm trying to figure out what I said on that other thread that's now titled Delete. If I'd written everything I had been thinking...

I just realized I got excited realizing I'm wearing an earring from the "Disney Princess" collection.

Especially not now, since I'm en route to an interview! (Babysitting).
Then to the gym. Where I haven't been in a while. And need to be. Because, er, I need to.

I hate company politics. Arrgghh.
My mom fell last night - I offered to take her to the doctor, but her friend is. She bumped her head pretty hard and is going to the doctor today with a friend.
She slipped walking the dog last night.

30 stitches, she is lucky that she did not lose her eye.
Apparently, she fell and the gravel cut her like a knife blade, and then embedded itself underneath the skin.
She calls me immediately to ask stupid questions, but waits a bit for this. I just read her the riot act, and am going to go over there and spoil her a bit.
