Well, I can still shoot pool, that's a good thing. First week back was quite successful. And I made it through the night with only one shot of patron, I am quite proud of myself!

Sour note to the day: sometime between 9:00pm and 11:00pm last night the big pearl in my anniversary ring fell out. We searched the house and can't find it. I fear that it came loose when I was washing my hair last night and went down the drain.

My friend is having hand surgery at the moment. She was separating frozen hamburgers with a sharp knife instead of a butter knife last week and it slipped. Turns out she nicked/cut a nerve in her index finger. She should get 95% of the feeling back in that finger. I hope someone remembers to call me afterwards.

I thought I was the Queen of Knife accidents. I was wrong.
