Give me an IT contract, and I will nail you to the wall. When it is me involved, I am too damn honest for my own good.
I did have a moment thought about not leaving a note, but I figured I would not be able to live with myself.
But, thanks for the encouragement.
The cows bring cocoa
When I rear-ended on the 405 last year, I was in absolute shock - I forgot to write down his information properly, but of course he had mine!
(Oh, and he never called insurance or me - he didn't have a license).
Mornin'.
I am just hoping they are honest.
The worst case scenario is I have to get the insurance company involved because they try to lie about the damage. I think that this would be one point, so hopefully my rates would not go up.
The best case is your scenario, which is not likely in a Costco parking lot.
I swear, those cars were hovering around like vultures looking for carcasses in the parking lot. I spent the night going over different scenarios in my head. I do not do ambiguity well. One of my many flaws.
Well, my Sunday morning is off to a rip-roaring start.
Zander had a little problem on the back end, and I spent a good 10 minutes trying to wash him out in the sink. I was a freaking human scratching post.
Time to take a second shower, because I now reek of the residue.
At least he does not seem to hold it against me. He may be the Devil, but he is a very good-natured one.
I have scratches all over the place. Off to buy grub for a potluck tomorrow. I hope everyone's weekend is going better than mine.
YWIW - I just want you to know that the way you express Zander's issues is the best way I've ever heard it!
Yech, take a good long shower. And relax. You deserve it!
Well, it is still time for brunch for some, and I did not want to be the cause of brunchus disappointus.
BTW - when do you start your new job?
Brunchus Disappointus? Cuuuute.
I start Thursday. Eeek!

YWIW - It's never too early to drink.
Shira - I missed the job info - point me to a page so I can catch up, please.
I actually have some work I need to do to prepare for meetings this week (on the same mega IT contract set I have been buried in).
The plus of all of this is that my work is being recognized by those not familiar with me, and I am getting great word-of-mouth to our President via our CIO. The minus, I am getting great word-of-mouth ...
The CIO has told numerous folks that he does not know anyone who could do what I do (which I am not sure I believe, but it is nice to hear). In this economy, those sentiments are better than a bonus.
I am still pissed about grazing the car in the parking lost yesterday. I am just waiting for a call (because I was, unfortunately, raised right, and left a note with my name and number). I would rather kick myself for doing the right thing, and have to deal with people possibly trying to take advantage, than feel guilty about not doing the right thing.
Damn morals, they are so inconvenient.

"Damn morals, they are so inconvenient."
That's what I've heard.
YWIW, brunchus disappointus...I love that.
My friends and I used to always that flair on to the end of general words - somehow they sound so much more important.
I hope all is well with you Miss P, and that you are recovering from your pain. I know it is not pleasant.
We have to coordinate plans in the near future...
Good Sunday all ... nice Sunday morning finishing Series 3 of Doctor Who, and now working on the show, getting ready for a week of run-throughs before tech next Sunday.

Y, I handled a few auto claims in my youth, do not worry about it!.
Whew! Busy weekend, but much fun. We were at the closing performance of Chicago Wicked today. Gerat performances and the audience was crazy! Lots of hooting. We did not see our friend, too many family, etc. to go back stage.
Back to work tomorrow. Every night of this week there is a function with Mrs. Brd and I in split coverage!
Happy Australia Day, Hep!!

Happy Chinese New Year all.
And Girly, your avatar is adorable.
OMG, Girly!!! She's the first woman on the planet to be wearing a knock-off of Michelle Obama's inaugural ball gown!!!
Y, let's discuss plans this week. I can't believe how close it is! (YAY!!!)
And yes "Happy Year of the Ox," all!
Thank you, Girly. Love the av. What an expression!
Miss P!!
We live very close to Melbourne's Chinatown. The New Year's crackers were as loud as ever.
Evenin' all. Just got home. Fabulous evening.
Q - I don't know what page it's on, but I got a job doing sales at an awesome gym in Union Square!
Way to go, S!
Thank you, Hep. It's all happening rather quickly! Am I an "adult" now? Well....no. One day, however, I hope to be.
