May I air a complaint?

I have just returned from shopping and I am angry. It is the rudeness and selfishness of people out there that is causing this anger. One man, who is a regular in the area, is blind. He is sweet and gentle and walks slowly with a white cane. I thought that white cane would be an obvious reminder to take care around him. Today he was coming out of a shopping arcade when a woman barged through the door with a stroller. The man was knocked off his feet. At first I thought that she had not seen the man. But, it became all too clear that she had and simply chose to be selfish.

My mother, who detests rudeness, made comment of the selfish behavior of people out and about today, and many other days. The woman who had barged through the door stopped, turned and abused my mother. Am I too sensitive in loathing this behavior? Am I alone?
