Good Morning Adults!
Morning soapy !!!! How was your weekend so far?
haha, Boobs, the same thing can be said about Tink and alcohol (hence the massive headache I am currently experiencing, lol)! I look forward to our get together!

Boobs - the play was wonderful. We had ontstage seats (they've designed the set like a cross between an amphitheatre/medical observation theatre which SO fits the piece). We all thought Radcliffe was stunning - brings great vulnerability to the role Quite remarkable, really. Some inconsistencies among some of the minor casting, but overall a wonderful production. Very disturbing, of course, but one which I'd really love to see again from 'out front' from a different angle.
Hope your weekend is good so far x
Tink, I am so looking forward to meeting you too.
P A..it's sounds like an incredible evening !!! Would love to see this show..with him in it of course.
My weekend so far..so good....actually went to bed early..so no hang over like Tink.
My one disappointment about London this summer is that I won't be able to see EQUUS. Traveling with the tykes and I just don't think this would be their cup of tea (or apple juice, as it were). Oh well, you can't have everything.
Weird - I couldn't load the site for a few minutes.
Watching an interesting show on Rosemary Clooney on PBS (Miss P - George has been on it as well! )
I wish I had gone to bed early and been a good girl!

Miss P - there's serious talk about bringing it to NYC next season, so you should be able to catch it there.
Thanks for that, DG. I am aware of that talk but it would still be fun to see it in London first, ya know? I just have to exercise patience. OM. OM. OM.
My weekend is fine, did I tell you how excited I was to hear about you going to Australia!

Oh, I definitely know what you mean, Miss P! You could always leave the children bound and gagged in the hotel room - it would only be for a couple of hours

Miss P - maybe you could leave them with a good nanny while you go see 'Equus' - 'Mary Poppins' plays just around the corner from the Gielgud
Thanks Soapy...I'm so excited !!!
Tink..I had the same problem with the site..that's why I disappeared for awhile.
Hi ya DG *hugs*
Yeah, .perhaps I can tie them up in the Tower of London and people will just think it's part of the show.
Well, Drowsy is going to London, so you can just have them start reciting play lines. Tell people it's a new Marketing tactic by their PR firm!
Anybody want to see our new babies? That's my sister holding her new grandkids - Lola on the left and Jack on the right.
AWWWW!!!!!! they are adorable!!!
Mamie..they are adorable !!! God Bless !!!
Patti, why can't they just have a "play room" in the theatre for the kids of parents who want to see EQUUS? On-site childcare, that's what theatres need. We can banish "adults" to this hidden cell when they misbehave during the performance. THAT would certainly straighten out those evil theatre-goers!
"Anyone caught talking, crinkling candy wrappers or acting otherwise obnoxiously will be forced to play 'Operation' with the 27 children currently in our on-site childcare facility. Enjoy the play!"

LOL! Indeed. No crinkly papers around last night, however. Although from our vantage point looking out into the main house, it was interesting to see the number of camera phones out during 'that' scene.
P A..did I tell you that I'll be seeing a couple of shows when I'm in Australia ? And there better be NO crinkling of paper or this American will have to show his feelings about that.
I think we should assign different "games" in the childcare facility according to the audience "crime." You know, like when someone's cell phone goes off, they have to be the "main player" in the "Joan of Arc Game." Coming up with these ideas is rather satisfying, I must say.
Miss P...what game would we play if people are talking during the performance?

Absolutely. The cell phone crime is one of the worst, to be honest. I'm so glad that some performers like Patti when she was here in 'Masterclass' and Richard Griffiths have dealt with it in the most appropriate way. I believe it was while he was in 'Heroes' that he told one audience member whose phone went off a number of times to 'F*** off out'. I think that got the biggest applause of the night.
Boobs - what other shows are you seeing?
The culprit gets gagged and bound (in a nice way) and then all the kids circle around him playing "THE SHOUTING GAME." Hee hee.
