Yeah, Boobs, you really don't.
Well, my gams do come from the Irish side of the family.
Gams? Are you 80?
I'm mostly German, with a little Irish, little Russian (not by blood but by location), and a little Native American (how and where I have no idea).
I'll take your word for it Moony....you can hum it then.
BTW..I am a pure bred....yes, I am the real Italian Stallion.
Yay for the mutts!
Tink we might be related!
But shamey..you're mostly Italian..right?
No, as the rest of us, Shamey is mostly AMERICAN.

Shamey, if you have any doubt about your Italian heritage, let Boobs and I assure you: You've GOT to be Italian.

Rath...have I told you lately? SHUT UP..of course I say that lovingly.
Yes..Moony and I will assure you of that fact shamey.
*won't shut up EVER*
I have 0% Italian heritage I believe. But I can still make a mean lasagna!!
Scottish, English and a little German thrown into the mix but sadly no Irish to through into the mix - so the only green in me tomorrow may be the beer.
Moony I've driven by Riviere du Loup on my way to the Maritimes. I would not ever recommend driving from Southwestern Ontario to Frederiction in one day - I was crippled getting out of the car. I cried in Edmunston when I realized I just lost an hour because of the time change.
Shamey does look 100% Italian. I'm always told I look 100% Irish even though it's the smallest percentage of my heritage. Must be the last name. I raise a glass of champers to all of my French Canadian ancestors -- the Jacques, the Landry's, the Thibodeau's, the Bedard's, the Richard's, the Philibot's and the Melanson's.

I've only been up there once - as part of a huge family reunion. My family is one of the most populous French Canadian families in North America. We've got cousins all over the place - even on this board. Right cuz?
Ha! I read "populous" as "pompous".
Me: Norwegian, Swedish, Italian, French (and a little Dutch)
Caldwell: French, Irish, Scotch, Italian
(Not in that order)
Our kids: Italian, French, Irish, Norwegian, Swedish (and even less Dutch)
But tomorrow, everyone is Irish, right???
Tink, as far as I know, I'm only an honorary Italian.
BUT, I do have a different blood type than both of my parents, so...
You betcha cuz!

Good morning all. This daughter of John Joseph Doyle and Kathleen McLean can't deny her heritage if she tried. My family came here from Counties Claire and Tipperary.
I thought I'd pay you back for all the green avatars with a bunch of photos of the old country. Enjoy and don't drink too much green beer!
Pompous that would be those across the pond Said with a pompous British accent.
Morning mamie..hope that foot is better.
My Uncle was married to an Irish woman...she tried to have their last name changed to O'Pec...that went over well with my paternal grandmother who financed most of their homes...I guess she won in the end..hee hee..altho my Uncle did go from Carmen to Colin to Carmine...I still don't know what to call him..so I don't !!!
