I am up bright and early to get going with my long list of chores... I am putting an extra pot of coffee out for everyone. There were alot of late-nighters here, so I'm sure it will be a while before we see all the bright, shiny faces

I have a thing about being up before the sun rises - I like to slowly gear up as the light emerges through the darkness. I feel MUCH more in synch with things when I can do that - which is almost every day, thankfully.

My friends are a silly bunch! But, I love them.

My favorite way to greet the day is before the sun rises... The mornings when I have to turn off the alarm and hit the ground running aren't as satisfying.

I think I've awoken to an alarm maybe twice in the last ten years - and they've been very bad experiences. Not so much for me, but for anyone I came in contact with.

DG - I set my alarm every weekday morning, just to be sure...but can't remember the last time I needed it to wake up. It's much more pleasant to get out of bed on one's own terms!

Well, the light has hit the top of the moountain to signal the beginning of yet another crystaline day - so that's my cue to get busy! I have to wrap presents that we're taking to friends this morning. Her mother is also a British ex-pat, so we got them some goodies from a local British import store - teas and goodies they especially like. I LOVE giving gifts!
