That's very cool. I didn't know it, either.

And, LA, you know I'm a sucker for the tear-jerkers!

Do I scare you? I'm Mormon!

And I love their rendition of the Hallelujah Chorus--and the Battle Hymn of the Republic?

Ohh Miss Addy, me too BIG time! We are going to have such a fun girls night when I come to NY! Sappy movies, bubbly, etc. I can't wait!

ck - our beloved Beacon has given me a slightly different perspective on Mormonism - to whit, they are apparently potential stalkers.

I have enjoyed my outing in the sun, and am now going to take a nap in the study in the cool breeze with the panarama of the mountains in the window.

DG- don't gloat. It is cold here.

Beacon - I agree that the choir does a lovely hallelujah chorus, but their other stuff is dull and plodding. Nothing against mormons, they could be the Presbyterian Choir and I would say the same thing. Give me Deck the Halls by the Roches any day!

Thanks, Rath.

DG - and I will look out my window at sparkling Rockefeller Center...

There is beauty no matter where we look, Addy - aren't we lucky? (sorry, I'm gloating again re: Can the adults please smoke? (Pt.2))

Well, I can watch the sun set on the Jefferson Memorial, I guess that is something :) It is a pretty late fall evening here.

The sun set here already. It's night. With an odd glow of a million Christmas lights.

Very sparkly.

BT - I love the memorials in the late afternoon sun - especially Jefferson's!

LA - feeling any better? I know you said earlier your fever broke - which is a good thing.

The sky is darkening here and the horizon is a soft orange and yellow. The mandarin's christmas lights will pop on soon. Tonight we may drive by the Capitol tree and I always like the Canadian Embassy tree. I'm getting in the spirit!

Bravo!

Plump snowflakes fall just beyond my window. They are illuminated by the soft glow of the thousand points of light reflecting from my Christmas tree. Beyond that... trees, and moonlight.

LOL DG...

Actually we just stalk any young Broadway actor who has played a stripping unemployed steel worker, cowboy, gay-Mormon-Republican-lawyers, Alamo defender, and minor French nobility.
(I checked the fine print)
