I think Carl Magnum should be "Chick Magnet". Then he can just go stand near the iceberg, and they will all be pulled from peril, perhaps?

DG I am so thrilled that Berke Breathehead is doing an Opus comic strip again. I totally heart his characters. I have two stuffed Opuses (Opi?) and many of the collection books of Bloom County. Truly inspired stuff with incredible artwork. How "real" his characters are--and OPUS is the penguin of my dreams.
Where are we going, and why am I in this handbasket?

Beacon - I have all the books, and many incarnations of my hero. When my beautiful Robert has to go away, I send one of the stuffed Opus to keep him company.

Yes, the poor man... he's cut his spending incredibly... only $300,000 for a sketch, instead of $36 million for a Picasso.

Maybe he can make some scratch composing the theme song.
