Not too many, recently. I saw a couple of Holiday concerts last weekend with the Atlanta Symphony - one with Clay Aiken - who was excellent and the other a POPS show which featured the Von Trapp Children. It was fun, also.

I would love to see Clay. He has such a wonderful voice...I love when he sings "Proud of your Boy"...on the "Aladdin" DVD.

Clay's got a terrific voice. I was a bit surprised at the demographics of his audience. I thought that there would be a lot of screaming 14 year old girls - wrong! I think his strongest demographic is women from age 40 - 70s, but he seemed to have fairly broad overall appeal. I was with 5 members of my family in the 5th row.

This concert was totally Christmas music - lighter fare a'la' "Winter Wonderland", 'Sleigh Ride" and such in the first half and more non-secular songs like "Oh, Holy Night", "Hark the Herald Angels Sing" and such in the second half of the show. He had two choirs, 3 back-up singers, his band, AND the 80 or so piece Atlanta Symphony Orchestra supporting him. It was pretty powerful! Updated On: 12/28/04 at 01:29 PM

You can directly call only a handful of NY theatres. They don't want to deal with it.
