Addy,

The Teddy Bears are popular items and they are sorely needed.

Locally, we have made them for shelters and for rescue corps. My mom's senior citizen condo has a group that makes them every few months.

We also make and donate a lot of quilts, too. Something soft, warm and cozy.

Right now my particular Relief Society group is making backpack schoolbags and filling them with basic supplies (paper, pencils, etc.)

I hope LA's flight doesn't get grounded. This freezing rain BS has to stop. It looks like I may be stranded at work tonight if it doesn't, thank god I have friends with apartments in this town.
