I'm not saying hi to anybody.
ck, I didn't see the Wicked 1-6 thread yet (I'll go back), but I saw the thread you started and added my 2 cents...

Well it's a full house this morning!
But I think instead of sitting and watching AndyHardy stretch, he should lead an Adults Thread Morning Stretch class.
Happy almost-birthday, Undi!

Shameless plug (this was in the 12/30 NY Times):
The birthday of Victor Herbert (Feb. 1, 1859) will be celebrated by the Collegiate Chorale Singers, led by Robert Bass (celebrating his 25th anniversary as the music director), with an evening of American operetta on Feb. 1 at Alice Tully Hall. Besides the music of Herbert, the program, conceived and written by Mr. Bass and Roger Rees and featuring the Jupiter Symphony Chamber Players, will include music by two other European composers who became American citizens: Sigmund Romberg and Rudolf Friml.

Posted: 1/7/05 at 10:39amPip - I liked the movie, in general - and thought Stephen Fry was probably born to play Oscar. But the more specific point is, if you find Mr. Law attractive, the perks are somewhat hard to ignore.

Guys and gals...
Please forgive me today if I am cranky or "snarky" (one of my favorite words). I am in a mood, and I can't put my finger on it. It's the kind of mood where I feel like arguing. I hate that. I'm trying my hardest to not. Can we please talk about sex and/or nudity? :)
Cheers, and happy Friday!

Posted: 1/7/05 at 11:03amHappy Friday everyone. Go see Meet The Fokkers. It has been a long time since I can remember laughing at so much in one movie.

Here's a fun Focker related story...
I saw it the morning after we got a call from a friend who was freaking out because a condom slipped off and he had orgasmed in his girlfriend. She was crying in the corner and freaking out convinced she was now going to be pregnant, and ruin her career as an local TV meterologist. We gave her all the advice we had, and agreed to see a funny movie in the morning. That was the movie we picked, unknowingly. If you've seen it, you'll know why I was then paralyzed with acid reflux. (Unplanned/expected preganancy, 16 yr old children from one night stands, etc.) I wanted to die.
So I didn't enjoy the movie as much as I should have. But Dustin and Barbra stole it.

CK--go back a few pages. Dame and I posted some links to nudist resorts that should distract you.
(And thank you for not starting an argument on my Ethics thread--your restraint was appreciated.)

Posted: 1/7/05 at 11:10amSaw it last night and it quite picked me up out of the dark snowy atmosphere here. Cute flick and fun to see Babs so at ease. Jorge and the baby were great too!

Thank you PJ for your shot at diffusing the situation. I didn't really mean to be a dick. Like I said, I'm having trouble today.
I've always wanted to go to a nudist resort, or even just a beach. Perhaps Orient Beach (I believe) in St. Martin. But I've never been with a partner that was willing to go.

Posted: 1/7/05 at 11:14amI can't say I completely enjoyed The Fockers - but the FULL audience we saw it with sure did! I must say, though, that I was blown away by the amount of chemistry that Babs and Dustin had.

We're back to nudist resorts?
I need to click on that link when I get home tonight.
I've done the topless thing. Guess it's time for the full monty. (Does that phrase work for girls?)
#11299re:Can the adults please smoke? (Pt.2)
Posted: 1/7/05 at 11:18amDustin and Babs stole it. And I'm not the biggest fan of babs but she had me rolling with laughter. She's still in good shape too.
