Normally Mondays are the pits for me, but I'm on vacation all week, so today was just lovely. Slept in a bit since I was up til the wee hours of the morning, then I just lazed around on the sofa, since the weather couldn't seem to make up its mind as to what it felt like doing. Watched Mean Girls and read a little, then met up with a friend for dinner and had a little shrimp scampi and a little stuffed flounder, went on over to Barnes and Noble and used part of a gift card I'd had since Christmas to pick up some mindless trashy reading material for the week and stopped at my friend's house to pick up some stuff she kept forgetting to give me. My Best Friend's Wedding was on, so I had to stay until the restaurant scene, my favorite part. Love Rupert Everitt!! Pretty much had a good day.

Howdy smokers...

Back home. I so didn't want to come back. I had a fantastic time in LA. Got to meet the Mother Hussy... quite an event. And spent lots of time with Ms. Shira, who also saved my weekend. And DGrant, so nice! Totally got along great with everyone. I now can't wait to go back to LA and see them all again...

Lots of shopping. A word of advice: don't go shopping in WeHo with Shira... especially after 2 mojitos. Hiked in Griffith Park, toured Pasadena (Thanks DG) and went to the Hollywood Bowl to see Camelsnot... er, Camelot.
