Posted: 12/9/04 at 10:55pmI would be sad too at that prospect of a closed chocolate shop. Dashed hopes and expectations.

Jelly Bellys. I had a boss who always had a bowl on her desk. The most exotic flavors, too.
I'm off to see if I can score some tickets to a local production of The Mikado. I love Nanky Poo!

Serving a steaming cup of hot chocolate laced with a splash of cognac, and a dollop of fresh whipped cream with a dusting of cocoa.
To each of you to keep you toasty.
Me? I'm drinking some port and working on a cigar.

K, honey, I know you're not old but we know I'm younger than you...and I need them as well. We'll just blame that on the computers and not aging, dear...

K...
I've worn glasses since fourth grade and have too many allergies to endure contacts...
I was floored when my doctor said that people my age (40 at the time) weren't good candidates for laser correction.
Anyhow, bifocals. Wow...
If it's any consolation, they make them now without the telltale line. The trick is to handle transition between the fields. I don't have them myself,yet...but that's what I've been told.
*Hugs K*
It is no fun when our body fails to perform as expected.

well -- to "cure the blues" -- I spent an insane amount of money on some FABULOUS glasses (no lines for the bi-focals of course) -- and the good news is my company pays for it all!!!!!!
Come see K on Tuesday in his new specs!!!!!
