Oh yeah - hugely exciting day - taking some clothes to the tailors, cleaning, laundry, and practicing some music for my show. Wow.

Follow-up to the vacation wallet fiasco - just got a call from hertz, and the wallet was indeed in the car - which they just discovered when the car was returned from the next renter. Although I'm a little frustrated that it took this long (I called them less than 1/2 hour after we turned it in!) I'm certainly glad it was found and that no one is running around stealing my identity.

Goodmorning everyone. Last night we saw the movie "million dollar baby" with Hilary Swank , Morgan Freeman, and Clint Eastwood. Hilar Swank was brilliant. very well deserving of a oscar nod. When it opens in 2 weeks- GO.

Yes, it has eased my mind a lot!

Sorry everybody's day is kind of ordinary - although, it is in the cycle of our daily lives that we frequently find our most comfort (side note to Rath - if you spend time alone and can honestly say you're spending it with someone you love, that's a good thing.)

We are taking my mother and brother to Disney today - which will culminate in the annual Christmas choral concert on Main Street, headlined by Marie Osmond (can't wait to share that with Beacon

)

Hi -- just stopping by for a minute.

DG - glad to hear the wallet situation is resolved. That is, indeed, a relief!

I just got back from a delicious lunch at Payard... complete with foie gras and champagne. And I wore a hat because I wanted to be one of the "ladies who lunch"...

It was fun! I had a double chocolate eclair for dessert. I am now in a food coma!

Also went to a Crafts fair this morning, and got some fun ideas for crafts to make at home... time to get out my glue gun!

Time for a nap and then time to get busy creating Christmas...

Hello folks! Wow a whole day and no mom! Been doing some Christmas shopping and now it is time to put up one of the trees. I don't know how many will make it up this year, but we'll see.

How was everyones day?

Addy: It sounds like you had a fun filled day! I wish I could see your place after it was decorated! I LOVE Christmas!

I had a garage sale and made $65, better than nothing! Then I went to get waxed and get a manicure! I got a light pink color on my nails, it's really pretty! <---Addy you would like it!

DG: I am glad everything was worked out! Let me know how DC was!

I'm locking the thread because I think it's gone past what we should consider to be the board max for a # of pages (and it's slowing down the server to keep adding to it...). I'll add it into the board code so it automatically creates a new thread for now on after x# of posts.

Feel free to start a Can the Adults, etc. etc. Part 2 thread though, because it's been one of my favorite threads to check in on each day.
