I sometimes wonder at the ortho or the dentist though, if the things they're using have ever been in someone else's mouth. Eww yuck

I also hate when u have to get a picture taken of you teeth. I wonder how often they wash that stick u bite, and they say smile, but it's really not smiling.

Did anyone else out there have the clear retainers as opposed to the wire ones. They are identical to invisligne(sp?) but came out years before Tom Cruise had them. I thought I was a dork at the time for having them but I guess I was a trend setter huh?

I have a friend with a clear retainer it is, I think. You can still see it though, and I hate how people are always making a show of taking them out. Ewww! The human mouth is so filthy and disgusting.

Those retainers get gross too. The celebs must have like 4 or 5 different ones so they never get gross. I always had to let mine clean in Denture Cleaner. And god forbid you bite too hard or they get all banged up. Those things sucked.
