Glory, I would probably stalk Emcee because she's the one with the tickets to see Adam.
shbrt, that's cool! Are there any other things you're in? Tell me if you're going to be on TV sometime. Is it fun?
I'm doing a show at school right now, but generally I do extra work in films. It's a lot of fun, except when you're wearing hideously uncomfortable shoes, like I was during my last shoot. The L&O one was a lot of fun - I had to be basically naked and lying on dirt, but I was treated like a princess by everyone
Doesn't the general extra environment bite though?? I used to do a lot of extra work in VanCity, and I got out of it and went into a different area of production because I HATED extras. They're brats who act like they're god's gift to the world and Spielberg. (present company excluded, of course)

How does one get to be an extra?
shrbt, how naked?
In my experience, both crew members and extras have been very pleasant on set. I've met some really interesting and friendly people while hanging out and waiting to shoot. It's always nice to be treated like a human being by the crew, in particular. I like when the director is involved with the extras and tells them if what they're doing is working.
Nia, my "modesty suit" included two pasties, two strips of adhesive, a thong, and a pair of panties. Heh
And you can send your headshot to extras casting agencies, i.e. Grant Wilfley.

Oh, so you have to be an actor. I didn't know if you could just show up and be like 'hey, can I be in the crowd?' or what.
That little getup sounds kinda sexy... I may have to leave CZJ alone, her lawyers are getting bitchy... If you see a wierd skinny curly-haired chick following you, that's me.
Sometimes you can become an extra by sending headshots/resumes to the casting director of a movie/TV show, but better luck getting an agent. (Might be kinda hard in Ohio though. hehe)
Oh god, how awkward was that, Shbrt? I think the crew tends to be nice to the extras if the extras come off as unpretentious and chill. Unfortunately, that's not always the case - at least not in my experience. (Then again, I have made some good friends who were extras. And I'm sure you're a pretty decent person. )
'Glory, I would probably stalk Emcee because she's the one with the tickets to see Adam.'
Haha yes thats it... after you arrive with the pitchfork to pry Emcee off of Adam's leg, you will steal her tickets to the concert... Brilliant!
You do need to be an actor, yup. But there's a lot of people who do it just for some quick cash, which honestly kinda pissed me off because I'm like, "There are so many people who would KILL to be in your place just because of their love of movies!"
It was pretty awkward, but thankfully they gave me a big T-shirt to wear over the modesty suit. It was loose enough that it didn't mess up all my stab wounds as well. When it came time for me to get under the flowers, they sent all the men out of the shed and the women helped me get under there. We all joked about how we could actually get things done now that there were no men around.
yes, remember when I told the story about my "friend" who did that whole thing where she tried to be in the movie I was trying to be in because she loooooves Jennifer Aniston? Ahhh!!

Things ALWAYS happen faster and more effectively without men.
Glory, here's what we'll do: Go to NY, find Emcee and attack her, then steal the tickets and see Adam.
'Things ALWAYS happen faster and more effectively without men.'
Probably true in most cases, but I'll still pretend I didn't read that
'Glory, here's what we'll do: Go to NY, find Emcee and attack her, then steal the tickets and see Adam. '
Sounds good to me... how about you go to NY and record the concert so I don't have to drive illeagally for over 22 hours (plus it would probably go faster without me anyway, right?)

Glory, you're just a little boy. You don't count.
And things might be faster alone, but nowhere near as fun.

Bye all, see you tommorrow.
Good night Nia!
'Glory, you're just a little boy. You don't count.'
Hey I'm almost 16 years old! I don't consider that being 'a little boy'... But then again if it excuses me from the inevitable stupidity that comes with being a guy, then okay
'And things might be faster alone, but nowhere near as fun. '
yay I'll so be there... ::starts planning escape:: hehe
A little late, but g'night nia... talk to ya later
OK, I just watched Bravo's "100 Scariest Movie Moments" and now will not be able to sleep. Ever again.
