I'm doing great, Tiff! I ordered Civilian today, after a little trouble with a gift card. Apparently, you can't use HMV ones online. But it's all sorted out! How about you?

Allie, you just got Civilian? Why can't you use the HMV ones online? Is it because it's only run through amazon.ca?

Yeah, I ordered it. The store said, "Well, we just ordered a copy. Would you like us to order another one?" Uhm, yes. What store orders ONE COPY of a CD? Is that normal?

Yeah, I think that's the problem with the card. It says it's only for purchases in-store. Someone told me you could use it online, though! I guess they were just mean and lied to me.

A day of high highs and low lows.

HIGHS
I got the Snoopy sheet music!
I won my class spelling bee and have a big chance of winning the school one.
I was chosen out of 3 people to enter an essay contest and win $500.

LOWS
One of my friends is mad at me because I wouldn't tell her about a joke that my other friends were playing on her.
I got a 79 on my Gemara test. I thought I knew the material, but I didn't.

So you're on campus right now? I'm heading to my old high school for the umpteenth time in an hour or so to get my old teachers to salvage what's left of a possibility to get into law school. Then I book it to the law faculty at the college that I very well might not get into, offer my body and my soul and sexual favors to get in, and then sulk.

Yeah, on campus. Then home. Sometimes I wish I'd just gone to a college across the country for the sake of it, just to get away from home. Why must I live so close to my college of choice? I do like home, but...y'know.
