Can you help me figure out this toy/game? Can't remember!

When I was in elementary school, we had someone come in and give a presentation of this toy in school. The gist of the game was to throw it back and forth but you could only catch it with one hand, and only catch it in the black part of the stick otherwise you lost. You could do fancy tricks with it too, but if I remember right you weren't allowed to move your feet. This is the closest I could come to creating an artistic rendering of it, but it has been driving me nuts for over a month now... It was alwaya a bright neon color...

Sounds like you've got it figured out pretty well. I've never seen anything like that, that doesn't vibrate.
