Can you record your voice on a PC program?

I heard that you can on a Mac but my son took the Mac to college. My daughter has a PC and was wondering how she could record her voice for a school project. Really appreciate your help! Thanks!

If she has a mic yep! Just download this program & it has a record feature right on it.

On a PC, you may already have a program where you can record your voice. Click on:

- Start button
- All Programs
- Accessories
- Sound Recorder

Thanks! My daughter said she has tried audacity and for some reason she can't get it to work right for her. Lauren- she found Sound Recorder and wants to know how do you play it back and how do you get it on a CD? (Sorry- I'm technologically challenged!)

Lauren- she just figured it out! She got it to go onto her i-tunes! THANK YOU SO MUCH- to both of you for responding. My daughter is VERY appreciative! I told her we could count on BWW- once again!
