I love Canada very very much.
I've been to Mexico, but only touristy places, and the amount of exploitation of the local people so that the tourists are catered to is really sad.
When I want to visit a warm place where people speak Spanish, San Juan Puerto Rico here I come.
When I want to party with the most gracious and polite people I have ever met, Montreal here I come. Vancouver is fantastic too.

Posted: 1/5/05 at 12:29amActually, I par-tay in Montreal, my visit to Vancouver was a two night B+B thing in the summer and I just loved it there. The very model of bright city planning. The first place I ever found a Lush. Couldn't get tickets to the outdoor Shakespeare thing, but I sure woulda gone.

Lush, the potent, stinky Body Shop-esque place? Yeah, that's not bad. You couldn't get tickets to Bard On The Beach eh? Was that this year? I've covered it for the last few years for my paper - this year wasn't too hot. Last year was fantastic though. You should come back more often - Vancouver's got a killer nightlife!
(How was Montreal? I'm hoping to go in the spring.)
