Just heard Yogi's wife died last night of a heart attack
He is going to be lost without her My heart goes out to him and his family

Posted: 3/9/14 at 9:36pmI met Carmen Berra about 40 years ago when I sold her some merchandise in what was then the Paramus, NJ Abraham & Straus (now Macy's). She seemed to be a very friendly lady. When she handed me her charge, I asked her, "Any relation to Yogi?" She grinned broadly and answered, "He's my husband." Judging from the way she reacted, she seemed crazy about him. I hope that Yogi still has happy times in the future. As we say in Judaism, may Carmen Berra's memory be for a blessing.
