Funnier on GOMER PYLE or THE LUCY SHOW?

re: Carol Burnett

I never saw her on Gomer Pyle, but she's quite histerical on The Lucy Show.

Perosonally, I loved her own "Carol Burnett Show" best of all.

re: Carol Burnett

I don't remember her on either.

[Anyone was funnier than Gomer Pyle. That Jim Nabors was a turn off to me.]

re: Carol Burnett

I kind of like Carol's round with Gomer.
She's funny on Lucy but I remember it being the same joke over and over.

re: Carol Burnett

I laughed all over again last night when we caught a "reunion" broadcast of the CB show. Filled with clips that were hysterical.

re: Carol Burnett

I hope she and Julie do another.

re: Carol Burnett

I have some vague recollection of the Lucy appearance. Didn't she and Lucy play a couple of trainee flight attendants (then called 'stewardesses')? I think "Wings" star Buddy Rogers was in it. I remember thinking at the time that it looked like a geriatric airline.

re: Carol Burnett

I recall a HERE'S LUCY with Carol Burnett. Some horrible thing (weren't all the HERE'S LUCY's horrible?), about raising money for a new gym at Greg's school. Oh, how I loved that show.

re: Carol Burnett

I don' remeber those episodes at all, but Carol was one of the nicest (AND most beautiful) people I've ever worked with.

She's like a fine wine, and justs gets better with age.

re: Carol Burnett

On 'The Lucy Show' or 'Here's Lucy', she was a shy frump who only came out of her shyness when she sang. It was funny but just a one joke show, as I said in my first post.

On 'Gomer Pyle' she was on the base and she taught Gomer how to sing a round.

Carol is magic, yes getting better all the time. She's hysterical in 'Putting It Together'.
The only thing better than Carol is 'Julie and Carol Together' (Again).

re: Carol Burnett

Carol is amazing she is a talented talented actress. I am so happy that her and Julie are friends. I can't wait for them to do a show together again.

I think it would be awesome for them to do a TV sitcom together.

re: Carol Burnett

How about the two of them in Lettice and Lovage? They could switch parts! Or the film version of The Tale of the Allergist's Wife?
