re: Caroline or Change

Corine... Did you really just say that Millie is "a work of art"?

re: Caroline or Change

Yeah - I found that one a bit hard to swallow also - I mean, it was a cute show - but hardly a work of art!...The movie is infinitely more rewarding!
"I don't really get the ending, all i can go with is when after several months,Judith saw Pat sang, and later she kissed him on the toilet, after that the story back to where Pat went down from the stage after he'd sung, and he went to the italian lady.I just don't get it,what Judith exatcly meant when he kissed Pat that she had seen, and did Pat end up together with The Italian Lady? Please help me,thank u very much!" Quote from someone on IMDB in reference to a movie he/she didn't understand. Such grammar!

re: Caroline or Change

I saw Caroline right before its official Broadway opening. Absolutely loved it.
I'm an off and on fan of Tesori. Love Violet, hate Millie, now I love Caroline.
For my money, Miss Pinkins is the Best Actress winner this year, hands down.

re: Caroline or Change

I thought Millie was fun, but I wouldn't go so far to call it a "work of art". I find Violet to be far more artistic and original, and from what I heard about Caroline, it is as well. But I did find the stage version of Millie much more entertaining than the film version.

re: Caroline or Change

damn Amazon.com is out of stock on Violet. Is it out of print?
I saw Caroline yesterday and was floored. It is so brilliant. Anikia Noni Rose and Tonya are so extraoridnary.
