Carrie Special Edition DVD extras

The interview with La Buckley in regards to the musical is fantastic. She tells a wonderful story about what happened during the curtain call on opening night of the musical. Worth the price of the DVD.

I would love to see another attempt at this show, as some of the music is quite good. With the exception of a few horrid songs (out for blood, do me a favor, it hurt's to be strong), the score was not the problem. What the show really needed was --

A book that clearly explained the title characters special powers

A choreographer that had more steps then cheeky bump & grinds

A realistic set instead of the formica box on display

and most of all, the show needed a director that had actually been inside a theatre before
