I'm working on a projuect for work, I'm helping to plan an international human rights conference that will be taking place near the end of the year and one of the programs we're working on invloves the movie "Crash". We're thinking it may be cool to try to invite a guest that was involved with the film (cast, director etc)....can anyone tell me if any member of the cast lives in NYC or nearby? See cast list below. I know Sandra Bulluck is a no but I'm not sure about the rest of them. Can anyone help me shed some light on this?

Posted: 4/20/06 at 2:44pmWell, even if they did, you'd have to go through their rep to put in a request for them to appear. Try contacting each person's rep and seeing if they will be in the NY area around the time of your event.

I know I'd have to go through the proper channels, I'm just trying to get an idea of who is where. Our legal dept. is probably going to handle all of the contacts and stuff, I was just thinking if they are closer so I could suggest that to them so maybe our chances of them accepting the invite would be better. But you're right, you never know when someone will be in NYC. Thanks!

Director/screenwriter Paul Haggis is about to start shooting a new tv series called "The Black Donnellys" in a couple of months. Filming will be in New York, so I would assume he's here now scouting locations and working on pre-production. Since he'll be busy with that for at least the rest of the year, it's a safe bet that he lives in NYC somewhere (though he probably also has a place in LA).
Not sure about the others, but I know Matt Dillon has always been a New Yorker (I've run into him on the street various times through the years).

EDIT: Nevermind I found it....it'll be on NBC.
