I watched the repeat of the first two episodes this weekend. I was left wondering who thought it was a good idea to do a reality on a woman who doesn't always seem to be in touch with reality. I watched it thinking it was going to be an Anna Nicloe-esq trainwreck but it was actually pretty dull.
Farrah shops. Farrah eats dinner. Farrah gets dressed to go to a party. People kiss Farrah's butt as though she were still someone important.
My favorite part was the guy they interviewed to be her assistant that turned them down and her manager throwing a fit and insisting that that be deleted from the show because "Nobody turns down Farrah."
She never was very talented to begin with. It was all hair and breasts. Now, she isn't even camp. She's just a sad and pathetic airhead.

Posted: 3/28/05 at 3:37pmShe seems very disconnected from everything except Ryan. I couldn't for the life of me figure out why people wanted to work for/around her.

I do love Farrah, but I did not believe the paparazzi/mobs everywhere she went.
And no mention of the kid she and Ryan had.
Having said that...it is a season pass on my tivo...

I wondered the same thing...why would anyone work for her. She seems to mistreat employees, doesn't have the clout to introduce you to people with whom you may get a better job and she's nuts.
I would have killed her had I been the sound technician on this show to whom she said, while eating dinner, "Hey, sound boy, you're not doing anything, pass me that plate."

You know how boxers become "stupid" the older they get due to beatings in the head?
With the illeged Majors incident, Extremities and the Burning Bed, do you think the same thing as happened to her?

Didn't she have a botched procedure a few yaers ago that left her looking like ahaggard 90 year old and then she had to have it fixed? She probably would be much better looking had she allowed herself to age more gracefully.
I always say that people should take their cosmetic surgery tips from Sophia Loren and Raquel Welch, not Joan Rivers and Cher.

Posted: 3/28/05 at 3:58pmShe should take tips from Jacklyn Smith who has got to have the best plastic surgeon alive. Nobody looks better than her.

Fedor - I always thought Jaclyn was the best looking of all the Angels - and that has not changed in 25 years (gosh, I am dating myself!)

Posted: 3/28/05 at 4:02pmExactly, she hasn't changed in all that time. She's got the best plastic surgeon! And, yes, she (was) is the best looking 'Angel'.
