Children's show

My school is having a Children's show. The name of the show is the popular "Beauty and the Beast". I have been attempting to find a monologue, but it is rather difficult. There are a few guidlines for the monologue.
~ Must be from a Children's literature
~ May not be from the play

And that is about it. It is a pretty laid-back audition, because it is only a school. If it makes a difference, I am auditioning for Bell, or the Teapot. If anyone could recomend a book or a website, preferably free, thanks a ton!
