A classic! They don't write them like that anymore. That and the Tennessee Birdwalk.
WOW..a blast from the past. Wasn't that Mac and MacNeil..something like that...I still have the 45 somewhere.
Jack Blanchard and Misty Morgan were respondsible for the 'brilliant' Tenessee Birdwalk, that I know. Whatever happened to Misty Morgan? A one hit wonder, so sad.
Oh, i thought this was another Kathryn Grayson thread.

I rented Breakfast on Pluto last night, and the soundtrack IS incredible, and when this song played, I almost broke down as it has such memories for me. It was an excellent rendition.
And while I found the main character of the movie a bit obnoxious at times, and parts of the movie disturbing, I truly loved it. The way it unfolds is spectacular, and anything about or in Northern Ireland has always been of interest to me.
A few years ago I was watching an old tape of Victoria Wood's "As Seen On TV" and she came on in one of the sketches singing 'Chirpy, chirpy cheep, cheep -chirp'. I fell about laughing it must have been the best part of 20 years since I'd heard it. It brought back many memories of the era that it came from. But it still is a shocking song!
so I bought the soundtrack to Breakfast on Pluto in Long Beach tonight and the ONLY damn song NOT on it was Chirpy, Chirpy, Cheep Cheep!
dup post
as of this very second I now own all three recordings of this song........boy is that weird
