I don't get the gay comments since everything I have heard over the past 10 years or so is that Borle is quite the ladies man.

Paul Rudd said that when he was starting out in his career and would go to auditions and everyone thought he was gay and he kept getting cast in gay roles (while his fellow straight actors wouldn't even consider auditioning for a gay character) so he never confirmed or denied his sexuality. He also said that he and Dan Futterman were often up for the same parts and would see other at auditions. They were acquaintances but not close friends. Rudd said he thought Futterman was gay and Futterman thought Rudd was gay. It wasn't until they were cast in a play together that they became friends and both found out the other was straight.
