Beth Robinson: Vermont civil rights leader says Vermont is still having problems with its civil union law enacted in 2000 – that “it’s just not true that as time passes, civil unions will achieve parity with marriage."


Nor do same sex benefits, when you consider that a married couple can get those benefits by just being married and to claim same sex benefits at most companies you must prove you've been living together for some arbitrary amount of time (usually a year or so).

yup, and we just had to "prove" about 4 months ago.....and now that my company has been sold, will have to f-ing do it again......I've had to "prove" 5 times in 12 years
