I'm sure your dad will like it. It's a very good album. If you want to listen to a couple of songs from it, go to Adam's myspace - http://www.myspace.com/adampascal
I say yes, but what sort of music is your dad into?
Civilian is very... cohesive. I find that it flows really well. Adam's music is rock without being too hardcore, and very Beatles-infused, I guess with bit of Elton John and Billy Joel in there, too.
If you like his voice, chances are you'll like the CD just by virtue of that, but it is a really good album and I highly, highly recommend it.
i like them both. get both

This is totally a predictable response from me, but yeah, definitely get it. :) I enjoy Model Prisoner as a whole, but I think I enjoy about half of it BECAUSE it's Adam rather than truly enjoying the music on its own merits. Civilian is a lot more mature musically and, if your father enjoys classic rock, probably not too far from what your father usually enjoys. The album has its high and low points, but there isn't a song on there that I dislike straight-up.
I think it depends on what you're dad likes to listen to. As siamese said, Civilian is more on the classic rock scale. I think Model Prisoner is a bit more rocker, but without going overboard. I love both, personally!

I'd actually say Model Prisoner is a hell of a lot more mellow than Civilian overall...
You're right, siamese. What is wrong with my brain tonight? *smacks forehead*
Well Model Prisoner has a wide variety of styles, from very soft and mellow to some screamers. I guess it depends on which ones you listen to the most.
Yeah, it does get pretty diverse. For heaven's sake, he has an almost bluegrassy song on there (One That Got Away).
No, don't worry about it! My dad actually really likes Civilian, too, and he's a big Beatles fan. He likes Civilian more than Model Prisoner, because as Lexi said, it's a lot more mature.
