Iflit...in any corporation in this country a senior executive possibly instigating and certainly allowing himself to receive oral sex on the job and in the office environment by a junior level employee would be forced to resign if those actions came to light.

The corporation would have a responsibility to investigate the alledged incidents to protect other employees from this behaviour as well as itself from these actions by one of it representatives. I don't think the corporation would be faulted for derailing the primarily focus of the busines to investigate a matter of on-the-job sexual harrassment.

As smart as Clinton might be intellectually he was pretty damn dumb to put himself in the position he did, and the country as well.

The oppostion, i.e., Democrats, didn't create that mess. They did was every responsible corporation does given the same situation--investigate it fully and thoroughly.

The focus was on his sex life??? That tired worn spin again? All this time I thought the quagmire resulted from the lies an attorney told during a SWORN deposition probing his pattern of harassing behavior. I also regret THE presidency was drawn into a lawsuit. But the only one cheapened by all this was Clinton and the other manipulative predator.

The Republicans biggest downfall was making such a big stink about it, as I feel the Democrats are gonna set themselves up the way they are pattering around trying to set each other up. What really bothers me is that Dan Burton (Local congressman) was one of the biggest loudmouths about how amoral Clinton was and he has an illigitimate daughter he won't even acknowledge exists. HYPOCRITE! Ok back to my opinion. Clinton did break the law, but I also believe impeachment was too strong there should be othe punishments set in place for the President such as a cut in pay or after fulfilling his term not being allowed in office again. Of course he was a lame duck anyways so it really didn't matter, it was just Republicans trying to drum up support for themselves which backfred I think. One Republican I do like is one of our State senators Richard Lugar. He'll say if he thinks Bush screwed up, and I have never heard him get in the political thicket like some others do. I also have great respect for Evan Bayh our other senator (Democrat), he is good too, maybe a presidential hopeful in a few years. I'm just rambling, I like to believe there is hope I guess.

To me, Clinton did far worse things in office than the Monica L. affair. "Don't ask, don't tell" being the tip of the iceberg. What really gets my goat is that he impeached for lying about an affair. This is nothing compared to the lies Bush & Co. have told yet there is hardly a blip on the radar.

Oh Mr. Roxy. Your ONLY defense of the Bush administration is to be critical of the Clinton administration. A VERY LAME arguement. Especially when I don't have much respect for the Clinton administration either. So please tell me what Clinton's faults have to do with the Bush administrations crimes. If you can show me some connection between the "Black Hawk Down" (an example you use frequently) incident and anything thing Bush administration is doing I will glady admit my mistake. Facts, links, etc would be appreciated.
As I indicated in my above post, I think Clinton did a lot worse than getting caught with his pants down, and that's what he should have been called on. But that has nothing to do with what the Bush administration is doing now.
