Clive Owen, the new face of Lancome

He has always played down his rugged looks, saying in a recent interview: "I have never considered myself a pretty boy."

I was under the impression he was the one that didn't want to be James Bond, not that the producers didn't want him.

Anyway, Clive was offered the role before Daniel Craig was, but he turned it down. There had been rumours going on for the past 3 years that he was going to be the next Bond, and even then he mentioned numerous times that he was not interested and that the rumours exasperated him to no end.

I'm SO glad that he turned it down.

Yes, I had heard that he turned it down. I still think he would have been perfect, though.

Daniel Craig was very good, though.
