Clothing donations for hurricane victims....?

I have about 5 lg. bags of clothing (cleaning out the closets!) that I would like to donate, quickly, without governmental red tape. Does anyone have any good info on this? I'm not good at research and Google. Red Cross in my nabe only takes $$$. Or, can I directly donate to families or individuals? Thanks if you can help.

I don't know where you live but if you type in google something like "clothing donation hurricane victims- (name of city/town)", you should be able to find something. I found some ideas when I typed in my area.
