Has anyone read the book? Warners Bros is releasing the film version with Hanks, Berry, Weaving in Oct.
And this from the Hollywood reporter this morning,
"Although neither of the Wachowskis has spoken publicly about the matter, Larry Wachowski reportedly completed gender reassignment surgery in 2009 -- which makes Cloud Atlas the first film where she is credited as Lana. Hugo Weaving, who plays multiple roles in the film, tells The Hollywood Reporter that its themes of transformation and rebirth were ones that seemed to make the project especially personal for his director."
Well I didn't want to get into it, but he's a Satanist.

Posted: 7/3/12 at 9:35amI've read the book and really liked it but there was a disconnect in it that makes me think this isn't going to be a successful adaptation.
A little swash, a bit of buckle - you'll love it more than bread.
