Another day and more Hate from the right wing. Nothing to see here.Tomorrow Fox News and AM Hate radio will pass it off as "The Liberal Media Making a big Deal over a 'joke'.
I hope the Secret Service pays her a visit and make her life hell. I also hope she is forced to resign her position, although a majority of Republicans I am sure would agree with her.

Lauren Pierce, the president of the College Republicans at UT Austin, said on Twitter Wednesday that the idea of assassinating President Barack Obama was 'tempting.'
At approximately 2:30 p.m., Pierce posted, 'Y'all as tempting as it may be, don't shoot Obama. We need him to go down in history as the WORST president we've EVER had! #2012.'
The tweet came hours after police arrested a man for firing shots at the White House, leaving two bullets in the executive mansion.
Pierce joked that 'it must be a slow news day' after ABC News posted a story on her comment:
Pierce told ABC News that the comment was a 'joke' and that the 'whole (shooting incident) was stupid.' Giggling, she said that an attempted assassination would 'only make the situation worse.'
"Insofar as she's a representative (of the College Republicans), maybe it shouldn't be said, but she's made a positive statement in a way," said Cassie Wright, the group's vice president.
"I don't really see anything wrong with it," Wright added. "It's just a personal comment, not representative of any group. Just freedom of speech, you know?"
"It's just a personal comment, not representative of any group. Just freedom of speech, you know?"
Sorry, no, it's not "just freedom of speech." You have to understand that even though there is the freedom of speech in this country, common sense still wins. You don't yell fire in a crowded theatre, and you don't say that you wish to kill (jokingly or otherwise) any political figure. Those are just the big two examples I have learned.
This argument is used a lot. Anti gay and racial slurs are considered freedom of speech to them and having consequences and taking responsibility for saying them is something their little brains just can not understand. Imagine the stuff one could get a way with if they used "freedom of Speech" for everything. You could insult your boss or teacher and hide behind Freedom of Speech. Rush Limbaugh has used this time and time again in his arguments.
This is sort of related but after Obama was elected a Texas Longhorn football player basically called for his assassination Facebook and was promptly booted by Longhorns coach Mack Brown for what he said. In fact, his scholarship was pulled.
I am sure that anybody in Austin who said Mack Brown was an ultra-PC librul for his reaction would also be promptly booted out of Austin by a lot of Longhorn fans.
Aren't there a good chunk of College Republicans at UT where this person's position can easily be replaced?
I do find it interesting that she was also having a rooting interest for his failure. As a Bush hater, I did not enjoy in the slightest the recession or the bailout.

A Democrat making a similar joke about Bush or Cheney would have been arrested.
